Dr. Cournoyer graduated from  Boston College in 1984 and Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. He opened this practice in 1993 and especially enjoys primary care and surgery. He is married with three children and three dogs!

Education: Royal Veterinary College and Vassar College
21 years in practice

Dr. Murdock graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London, England in 2001 and practiced in the UK until 2008.

She moved back to the US in 2008 with her husband, 3 children, and 3 pets in tow.  She enjoys surgery, small mammals, and endocrine disease.

Education: Atlantic Veterinary College
14 years in practice

Dr. Munson graduated from Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, Canada, and has been practicing in RI ever since.  She and her husband Chris share their home with two “special needs” animals, a three-legged Chihuahua, and a one-eyed cat.  She also has two large dogs and one other “rescue” cat.  She also has two small humans in her
extensive family as well!

Education: Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine
​19 years in practice

Dr. Brault graduated from Cornell University in 1999, and Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.

After completing a one-year rotating internship in general practice, internal medicine, surgery and critical care in Sacramento, California, he then spent his career practicing general medicine and surgery and raising a family.  He and his wife Leah share their home with 2 kids, 2 Burmese cats, and a large Leonberger named Moon.

​They also have 2 beehives in their backyard.

Meaghan joined our Team in the Fall of 2011.  She shares her home with two adorable dogs named “Fender”and “Daisy”, two cats named “Ziggy” and “Zoso”, and a Leopard Gecko named “Morrison”.

Emmy joined our Team in the Spring of 2012.  She utilizes her surgical training and degree in Science to assist with our four-legged friends.  She has two dogs named “Wrek” and “Layla”, and 2 cats named “Salem” and “Midnight”.

Laura joined our team in January of 2015.  She completed her degree in Pre-Veterinary Science at URI in the Fall of 2015.  She enjoys telling her Golden Retriever named “Junie” to “Drop it!”, and training her cats named “Rozin” and “Dill” to do fun tricks.  She also has a Bearded Dragon named “Gwen”.

Kaira joined our Team in September of 2022.  She has worked in the Veterinary field for two years and is currently attending school to earn her Certified Veterinary Technician degree.  She will be applying to Veterinary school the Summer of 2023.

She has three dogs: “Miley” (pictured), “Luna” and “Lila”, a Bearded Dragon named “Esmeralda”, a Ball Python named “Baby”, and two “bonded’ Guinea Pigs named “Beau” and “Biscuit”.

Mike has been a member of the Team since August 2015. He lives with his wife, 2 daughters, dogs “Cooper” and “Poppy”, 2 cats “Simba” and “Loki”, and “Pepper” the bunny.

Lauren has been a Veterinary Assistant since late 2018.  She got her start at a small Clinic in Jax Beach, Florida, where she learned “everything she knows”.  She’s passionate about animal welfare and is a talented artist.

She currently shares her heart and home with five cats, named “Sherlock”, “Valentine”, “Maubee”, “Noelle”, and  “Zoey”, and two Labradors named “Charlotte” and “George”.

Chelsea has been a member of our Team since April 2021.  She is currently attending Massasoit Community College to obtain her Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology so that she may go on to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.

She has a wide array of animals, including a pony, sheep, goats, chickens and rabbits, along with three dogs: “Roxy” (purple), “Xena” (blue), and “Max” (middle).

Alyssa joined our Team in November of 2021.  She graduated from New England Tech in 2018 with an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology.  She has a “clingy” Bernedoodle named “Finley” and three cats named “Irene”, “Tuukka” and “Enzo”.

Autumn joined our team in August of 2023. She entered the Veterinary Medicine field in 2020 and is currently enrolled in PennFoster’s Veterinary Technician program, working towards becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. Autumn enjoys practicing yoga, baking, hiking, traveling and has an affinity for live music

Lindsey joined the East Bay family in June 2023. She has been involved in the Veterinary field for four years and working with animals has always been her passion. Lindsey has 3 cats “Minerva”, “Callie” and “Miley.” She also has 2 rabbits named “Maxine” and “Binky”. In her free time she enjoys fishing, doing puzzles and spending time with her pets.

Madelyn joined our team in August 2023. She has worked with animals for 3 years, and is attending Curry College on the Pre-Vet track. She shares her home with her 2 cats, “Julius” and “Salem”, 3 dogs “Gemma”, “Greta” and “Opal”, 2 Guinea pigs “Rigatoni” and “Macaroni”, and her rabbit “Maple”.

Sammie joined our team May 2023. She graduated from Regis College this past year with a degree in Biology/Pre-veterinary sciences and plans on applying to Veterinary school in the Summer of 2024. She recently rescued “Boston” (pictured) from LA, who loves to steal socks and chase bugs.”

Parker joined our Team in the Summer of 2020.  She graduated from the College of Charleston in May of 2022 with a degree in Biology.  She is currently applying to Veterinary school and has a cat named “Pippa”.

Olivia joined our team in the Fall of 2018.  She graduated from URI in May of 2021 with a degree in Pre-Veterinary Science and is currently attending Veterinary school in London. She has two cats “Hazel” and “CeCe”, and a goofy Great Dane named “Archie.”
